Doox and Musical Education
Doox is a group that cares deeply about musical education. In China Tour (2026), we had some amazing opportunities to collaborate with students across different schools, sharing our a cappella music.
We would break up into individual voice parts, workshop our pieces, and finally put all the parts back together to form a single piece. It’s always exciting to unite with the students and perform all together!

Doox loves engaging with students! We often host a panel discussion after performance to answer questions from the audience.
“How do you balance your schedule between school work and an a cappella practice?”
“What has been the coolest class you’ve taken at Yale?”
Outside of a cappella, Doox’s interests span across many fields, from neuroscience to history to computer science. We are happy to answer any questions that would help students get a better view of Yale life, music, college prep and more.
Some of our favorite memories also include touring the city with student guides, eating lunch with students and teachers, and listening to student performances!
